Infant/Toddler Program

Our space is built for active inquisitive infants and toddlers. With environments made up of well-planned learning centers that allow for physical activity, child choice and self-directed play, small groups and supportive teaching. There are reading nooks, sensory tables, pretend play areas, baskets filled with exploratory materials, musical instruments and a 3800 square foot fenced yard to explore.

Our goal is to encourage learning experiences that will promote your child's growing independence, enhance social skills, and build confidence needed to reach their individual potential and prepare them for preschool and beyond.

Full-Day Preschool

Our preschool classroom focuses on children's newly emerging skills and encourage emerging interests in academics, creative expression, and outdoor learning.

Our curriculum stimulates each child's innate curiosity and exploratory nature to prepare our children for life long learning. Children move to elementary school socially prepared, excited to learn, and well versed in the skills they'll need to succeed.

Our goals for the preschool program are:

Instill an intrinsic love of life-long learning.

Nurture a positive attitude.
Increase independence.
Broaden knowledge and Vocabulary
Encourage curiosity, initiative, and persistence.

By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships.

PHILOSOPHY

At River City Early Learning Centre, we believe every child is a capable, curious, and unique learner. Our learning-based program combines purposeful play with age-appropriate experiences that encourage children to explore, ask questions, solve problems, and express their ideas. We support each child’s individual interests, strengths, and developmental needs while promoting confidence, independence, inclusion, and a lifelong love of learning.
